MEET THE OWNER & LEAD DESIGNER:

Originally from Louisiana, Emily graduated from the University of Mississippi, better known as “Ole Miss,” with a degree in Hospitality Management. Following graduation, she moved to Charleston, SC to pursue a career in the event and wedding industry. Since moving in 2015, she has coordinated and designed over 150 weddings and participated in the coordination of many corporate events and parties.

Emily’s favorite part of coordinating a wedding is getting to know the bride and groom as well their families. From the the initial conversation to the bride walking down the aisle, Emily is always considerate of the details that make each couple unique and one of a kind. Because of the bond that she creates with her couples, Emily has gone on to coordinate many of their baby showers, family parties, and sibling’s weddings.

During her time at Ole Miss, she spent countless hours in The Grove. Whether it was passing through on her way to class, a scenic lunch spot, or tailgating on game day, The Grove was always inviting. Because of the effortless beauty and infinite memories made in The Grove, she thought “there’s no better name than Grove Designs”.
